Moduł GPS iFlight BLITZ M10 GPS V2 (25*25 mm)

GPS module with faster satellite search iFlight BLITZ M10 GPS V2 in the Maxi version has a 25 x 25 x 6 mm format and has been designed for use in builds compatible with this size.

The module combines a GPS unit with a QMC5883L compass, and the 10 Hz refresh rate allows data to be updated efficiently during operation.

The UBLOX M10 chip provides low power consumption and a strong signal, while the built-in high-capacity capacitor helps achieve a faster hot start.

• This gives you smoother and more stable satellite acquisition.

Key advantages

• UBLOX M10 – low power consumption and strong signal.
• QMC5883L compass – integrated directional data in one module.
• 10 Hz frequency – frequent data updates.
• High-capacity capacitor – faster hot start.
• LNA, RF filter and TCXO – components supporting signal reception.
• Flash memory – built-in data storage.

Stable operation and fast hot start

The BLITZ M10 GPS V2 module has been equipped with solutions supporting signal reception and processing.

Built-in LNA, RF filter and TCXO help maintain suitable operating conditions for the GPS unit, and tracking sensitivity of -167dBm allows signal reception in line with the module specification.

• Hot start is 1 s, so reacquiring data can be quicker.
• After a cold start, the declared time is 27 s.

Compass and controller communication

The integrated QMC5883L compass expands the module’s capabilities without the need for a separate component of this type.

The GPS RX/TX UART interface is used for GPS communication, and the compass pins use SDA/SLA.

The module supports baud rates from 9600 to 460800 and a range of 4800bps-921600bps, with a default value of 115200bps.

The input voltage is 3.3-5.5 V, so before installation you can adapt the connection method to the build you are using.

Precise positioning in the Maxi version

BLITZ M10 GPS V2 supports GPS, Galileo and other GNSS systems listed in the material specification.

The module offers high-precision positioning, speed accuracy of 0.05 m/s and a refresh rate of 10 Hz.

• The maximum altitude is 80000 m, and the maximum speed is 500 m/s.

The design can operate at a maximum acceleration of ≦ 4G, which allows these parameters to be taken into account when designing and configuring the device.

Compatibility with selected builds

The Maxi 25*25*6 version is indicated as compatible with Centurion X8 and Taurus X8 Pro Max builds.

Before installation, check the space intended for the module and the cable routing, as the overall dimensions of the module are 25 x 25 x 11 mm.

The Maxi 25*25*6 format makes it easier to fit the product to the listed builds, and the included wire set allows installation to begin without having to source this item separately.

Package contents and module design

• In the box you receive 1 x BLITZ M10 GPS V2 and 1 x wire set.

The GPS patch antenna in this version measures 25 x 25 x 6 mm, and the overall module dimensions are 25 x 25 x 11 mm.

• The weight is stated as 16 g.

The built-in Flash memory, high-capacity capacitor and integrated QMC5883L compass form a functional set of components in one housing, intended for installation in compatible builds.
